Barley Works for me.

I am officially settled down in Kitchener/Waterloo. It has taken me almost 2 weeks to get my life figured out, and I am quite satisfied with the way things turned out. I was originally thinking I may only have the option of living in Guelph, but I decided there was no way in hell that I was living there 12 months of the year. I spoke to my aunt and opened her arms and her house to moi. I have the basement to myself, and I am actually going to get my stuff out of the suitcases that have been packed for 2 weeks. I literally have not had time to move in.

The past couple weeks have been great. I finally have a job, and although I am working ridiculous hours till late at night, I am making a ton of money. A lot of the girls are fun to work with and maybe my management is strict and a little nuts at times, I am quite happy to have the security of an income again. Last night was pretty shitty when it came to tips, but Thursday night made up for it. Also, the highlight of last night was (amazingly) shattering 2 glasses all over the patio. I got some serious OHHHHs out of it, and was slightly embarrassed. C'est la vie.

Earlier this week, I went to the GTA. On Tuesday I slept way too late from having a late night on Monday and headed to Mississauga/Oakville. My aunt drove me to Guelph, then bused to Square One, then bused to downtown Oakville. I met Rachel outside Second Cup (on the beautiful day it was) and hung out by the water for a while catching up on life. Then we headed to one of my favorite restaurants downtown Oakville called Julias. We had some very delicious food and had tarimisu for dessert. Rachel bought me dinner since it was my birthday this week, which was very awesome. We waited for the bus, and I headed up to Mississauga to meet up with Justin. We hung out on the park and were attacked by mosquitoes since we were in the middle of a damned forest, then went to a less-treed area to look at the stars. It got later quite fast, so I ended up stayed there for the night. In the morning ( MY BIRTHDAY) I headed to the hospital to see my grandmother. She, nor my grandfather, remembered my birthday which I found quite cute. When I reminded them, they both told me they hadn't forgotten at all. lol. Right. I caught up with them for a bit, meanwhile hearing about awkward diaper stories. I headed back to Square One to catch the bus to Hamilton, but missed it by a whole 2 minutes. I messaged Justin and I bought him lunch and had some Starbucks Iced Tea my sister recommended (yummy). I just barely caught the bus, and was dying from running since it was like 40 degrees outside, and fell asleep on the bus to McMaster. I walked to my sisters house and was overwhelmed with happiness. I didn't realize how much I miss having her around. Although Sawyer wasn't there, I was having a crazy allergic reaction to her bed. After catching up for a bit, and opening up presents (she actually got me a card for the first time, shocking! - and underwear and a pretty t-shirt) we headed to Boston Pizza's patio for an early dinner. Had some very alcoholic beverages, calamari, yam frites and pizza. Once it was time to go, we walked back to her house, grabbed my stuff and I dashed off to catch my bus back to Kitchener. It was 10 minutes late and I'm pretty sure she overcharged me, but I didn't care because it was my birthday and I have money again. The bus lady was nice enough to drop me off close to my aunt's so I got home fairly fast. I hopped in the shower quickly, and Josh came to pick me up. We went to his place and had some drinks with Devon, and played some drinking game to down the one month EXPIRED grapefruit and orange juice we were drinking lol. It worked pretty well. We walked over to Front Row for some drinks and hung out on the patio until I was, at least, pretty drunk. I didn't want to overdo it since I was working in the morning. Once they closed, we headed back to their place, watched some tv and headed to bed. I had to work at 1145am apparently but the weather was shit. Josh and I stopped at Tim Horton's for some breakfast. Although I knew it was going to rain, I went in anyways and stayed for a total of 20 minutes. A girl from work. Nev, drove me back to my aunt's and I immediately went back to sleep for a couple hours to gain some energy. I had to work again at night, and made good money.

Last week, wednesday was a good night and went to Front Row's with Josh. Then Friday night, I had dinner with my aunt and cousin, drank 3 glasses of wine and took the bus to Waterloo. I was pretty tipsy by the time I got there, but we pre drank some more and headed to Fox for a pitcher of beer. Once we realized we didn't want to finish it, we headed to Starlight for more drinks and dancing. I was pretty wasted, the most wasted I've been in a long while. Once we got back, the world was spinning forward so I drank water and watched tv for almost 2 hours before it passed - I really did not want to be sick. It worked! On sunday, my aunt and I spent the entire day together - we went to Guelph to pick up some of my stuff and bike, and went shoe shopping for like, 3 hours. I finally got a cute pair of wedges that I have been looking for (unfortunately they have been hurting my feet). We sat by the pool for a little while, and she told me stories of her and my mom from when they were kids. It was nice to hear about her in such a playful way. We had dinner together too.

Last night my aunt made me eggs benedict and a lemon cake for a belated birthday dinner. I got some money from my uncle and some silver earrings. Yesterday, I hung around at the pool and I plan on doing the same this afternoon as well. It was absolutely lovely.

My fingers are tired and I want to get off the computer. I have been trying to limit my time on the computer since it's boring and I have better things to do in the summer. I'll try to write more later, but I will probably be working crazy hours for the next... 2 months.

I have to go grab my stuff from Lyle today, so I hope he left it outside. I really don't feel like dealing with him at all.

NOTE: Who cares about Michael Jackson, it's called KARMA. That's what you get MJ for raped little boys.
